All universities have open days throughout the year for you, your family and friends to come along and visit. You can really check out the university and see if you feel comfortable in the environment. You will also be able to get the low down from current students, have the opportunity to look at the facilities such as computer labs, libraries and media services, the accommodation, sports and social facilities on offer.

 

Some universities also have virtual tours you can look at online through their university website, so this will give you an idea before you visit them what to expect.
