It’s really important to make sure that you work hard at school and get the grades you need to go to university. Why not start thinking now about what course(s) you might like to study? You should then find out what grades in what particular subjects you need to get, so then you know what you are working towards. University prospectuses are a good place to start to find out this information. You can request a prospectus to be delivered from any university and most have the option to download one from their website.

Everyone who wants to go to university for the first time has to apply through the University and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), except if you want to do an Art and Design foundation year or intend to study part time.
