Introduction

The learning environment at university is totally different to the one at school:

  • You will have much more independence
  • You can call your lecturers and teachers by their first name
  • You will not have detentions or be chased by a lecturer for any of your work – it is your responsibility to make sure you hand in your work on time
  • You will have lectures with up to 300 other students, seminars with 20-30 and tutorials with about 4-5 other people.
  • You do not have any curfews, you can come and go as you please
